This file may not be a complete list of copyright holders and contributors
which are included in the distributed SARPi Project software. However, all
license and copyright notices, as required, are included within the software.

* Linux

The registered trademark Linux is used pursuant to a sublicense from the
Linux Foundation, the exclusive licensee of Linus Torvalds, owner of the
mark on a world-wide basis.

https://www.linuxfoundation.org/the-linux-mark

The Linux(R) kernel is licensed under the GPL version 2, which can
be found in the file COPYING. Linus offers his interpretation of how
the GPL applies to the kernel at the top of the COPYING file found in
the kernel sources. Here's the quote:

  "NOTE! This copyright does *not* cover user programs that use kernel
 services by normal system calls - this is merely considered normal use
 of the kernel, and does *not* fall under the heading of "derived work".
 Also note that the GPL below is copyrighted by the Free Software
 Foundation, but the instance of code that it refers to (the Linux
 kernel) is copyrighted by me and others who actually wrote it.

 Also note that the only valid version of the GPL as far as the kernel
 is concerned is _this_ particular version of the license (ie v2, not
 v2.2 or v3.x or whatever), unless explicitly otherwise stated.

                        Linus Torvalds"

Linux is a Registered Trademark of Linus Torvalds.

* raspi-slackbuild

In Oct 2012, SARPi software was initially built from modified scripts
that were downloaded from https://github.com/idlemoor/raspi-slackbuild
which are Copyright (c) 2012 David Spencer, Baildon, West Yorkshire, U.K.

The SARPi Project build processes and procedures have been revised and
completely re-written since then, but the methods and infrastructure are
still loosely based around the original 'raspi-slackbuild' work by Dave
Spencer. The SARPi Project regards 'raspi-slackbuild' at he "Mecca" of
Slackware ARM on a Raspberry Pi because that's how it all started and
was made possible. All credit and thanks to Dave Spencer.
