# HOW TO EDIT THIS FILE:
# The "handy ruler" below makes it easier to edit a package description.
# Line up the first '|' above the ':' following the base package name, and
# the '|' on the right side marks the last column you can put a character in.
# You must make exactly 11 lines for the formatting to be correct. It's also
# customary to leave one space after the ':' except on otherwise blank lines.

cpulimit: cpulimit (Limit CPU Usage)
cpulimit:
cpulimit: cpulimit limits the CPU usage of a process (expressed in percentage,
cpulimit: not in CPU time). It is useful to control batch jobs that can
cpulimit: otherwise eat too many CPU cycles. The CPU usage limit is enforced
cpulimit: by sending SIGSTOP and SIGCONT POSIX signals to processes. All
cpulimit: child processes and threads of the specified process will share the
cpulimit: same CPU usage limit.
