Gilbarco Passport Setup for Stansoft
====================================

Before you can transfer a price book from Stansoft to a Gilbarco Passport POS
you will need to make sure FTP is active on the Passport and that the
RV042 router DMZ/Internet port is active. You can test this by hooking a
ethernet cable between the Linux server running Stansoft and the DMZ/Internet
port on the Passport router, if the green connection light on the router
comes on, the port is enabled. If you don't get a light, then you will need
to call the Gilbarco help desk and ask them to dial into the Passport and
enable FTP login for the back office.

The IP of the Linux server running Stansoft, the back office BOS, should be
set to 10.5.60.15 netmask 255.255.255.0.

Log into the Passport Manager Workstation MWS, this is done from the POS,
More > More > Tools > Mgr Wkstn

Once logged into the MWS go to:
Setup > Store > Back Office > Back Office Interface

Set the following options:

Interface Format:
  Select NACS XML 3.4 under the Interface Format drop down box

Generation Options:
  Generate Transaction Level Detail (PJR)
  Reassign PLUs to Assume Department Changes
  Generate Acknowledgment Files
  **Drop UPC Check Digit (do not set leave un-checked)
  **Combine Transaction Level Detail Files (PJR) (do not set leave un-checked)
  **Use Manifests (do not set leave un-checked)

On the XML Import Options tab select "Back office sends a value of 0"

Stansoft Setup
==============
Log into Stansoft and go into: System Management > Profit Center Maint
Do a Find to locate the retail profit center that has the Passport you
want to transfer pricing to and set field "Remote Retail" to Y and
field "Host Path" to either localhost or username@ip_address, if the retail
store is at a remote location and you have setup SSH between the sites.
   Remote Retail  [Y]
   Host Path      [localhost                               ]

Now you should be able to send pricing from Stansoft to the Gilbarco Passport
go into: Retail Sales > Price Book Maint
Add an item and then select Send and the item should be sent to the Passport
