Hello. Thanks for downloading QHacc.

QHacc is a simple home accounting program written in C++ with the Qt
toolkit. It has a number of features, including memorized and scheduled
transactions, multiple account types, auto-completion of frequently used
transactions, double- and single-entry bookkeeping, and rudimentary
graphing and reporting. It is an all-inclusive package, so beyond Qt and
a compiler, there are no required external programs. However, it comes
with several plugins that require libraries not distributed with this
package. By default, no plugin with external dependencies is built.

If you like QHacc, please consider sending me a postcard saying so. The

I'm not expecting any earth-shattering vows of fealty, but I would like
to see the different places QHacc may be used. I imagine something like
"Hello from Oklahoma" or "QHacc's running in Memphis." And to sweeten
the deal, if you put a return address on the postcard, I'll mail you one
from beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia, USA.

This is QHacc 3.4, and it's basically the same as v3.3. The differences
are that I rejiggered the reconcile window's handling of journals. Now,
if you have the "Hide Journals" preference set, they'll be hidden in the
reconcile window as well. If you don't have it set, you'll see a journal
chooser on the reconcile window just like on the Viewer. The other
addition is the ability to schedule transactions on the last day of the
month. (Before, if you scheduled something monthly you would get
inconsistant dates because each month has a different number of days.)

There are also a couple bugfixes in here, so give it a shot! I hope you
enjoy this release. If so, why not send a postcard?

Thanks again,
ryan <ryan@ostrich-emulators.com>
