There are known issues on .bmp file output with old ATI cards.
To adjust dialog fonts in VariCAD, use "stf" command.
  = Changing working directory
If you want to change your working directory, start VariCAD with a parameter
-askworkdir. When starting VariCAD next time, you will be asked to define a
path to your working directory. When changing the path settings are not being
copied - implicit settings are applied.

== Distribution Notes ==

  = Mandriva Linux 2005, 2006, 2007 =
VariCAD is not added into the menu. It is necessary to start it from
console using a command 'varicad', or it is possible to create a shortcut
    manually.

  = SUSE 10.1 =
Be sure you don't use XGL Xserver.

  = OpenSUSE 10.2, 10.3 =
Be sure you don't use composite window manager (Beryl, Compiz Fusion, XGL Xserver).

  = Ubuntu 7.04 =
If you cannot see any printers in your system, you can resolve it as follows:
    Solution #1:
Change settings of CUPS in the following way:
In /etc/cups/cupsd.conf change the line Printcap /var/run/cups/printcap
    to Printcap /etc/printcap
    Then restart the printing subsystem.

    Solution #2:
Create a link by using the command: sudo ln -s /var/run/cups/printcap /etc/printcap
