We present below the two series of key bindings.
In Desktop mode, the keys on the numeric keypad are used.
In Laptop mode other keys replace them.
1. In desktop mode the key named Ins below is the key Insert or 0 on the
numeric keypad. It acts like a shift key. For instance "Ins_4" means:
"hold down the Ins key like a shift key and press 4".
Keep numlock off to use Speakup.
The numbered keys listed below are located on the numeric keypad.
1/2/3    Say Previous/Current/Next character
4/5/6    Say Previous/Current/Next word
Ins_5    Spell current word
7/8/9    Say Previous/Current/Next line
Ins_4    Say from left edge of line to reading cursor.
Ins_6    Say from reading cursor to right edge of line.
Ins_8    Say from top of screen to reading cursor.
Ins_+    Say from reading cursor line to bottom of screen.
+        Say entire screen.
Ins_F1    Speakup Help (press Space to exit)
2. In laptop mode The CapsLock key replaces the Ins key.
CapsLock_(m/comma/dot) Say Previous/Current/Next character
CapsLock_(j/k/l)       Say Previous/Current/Next word
Spell current word
CapsLock_(u/i/o)       Say Previous/Current/Next line
CapsLock_h             Say from left edge of line to reading cursor.
CapsLock_semicolon     Say from reading cursor to right edge of line.
CapsLock_y             Say from top of screen to reading cursor.
CapsLock_p             Say from reading cursor line to bottom of screen.
CapsLock_apostrophe    Say entire screen.
